I have not experienced or used AR technology in the classroom before. I think AR technology can be used to improve the interest of students in class, all the contents presented by AR are in 3D, it’s really help to students’ understanding and memory. Students’ classroom experience changes from 2D to 3D, and is no longer just boring contents in textbooks or blackboard. This is especially helpful for chemistry and physics, because these subjects have some things that we don’t normally see, such as electricity. Using AR technology may help students see virtual electricity. And the interactive nature of AR can design very attractive teaching content, which can increase students’ interest in learning.

I think the challenge is that teachers need to improve their skills of using these technologies. If the teacher is not familiar with these technologies, it may waste time.
