Remote learning is a method of learning in which technology is used by learner’s and educators are allowed to learn by hands-on experience by distance. Example: Remote labs that allow hands-on experience for students. Learning is possible through online, video conferences. Due to covid-19, face to face classes is not possible. Remote learning has been a great help for learning and has been replaced by traditional classes in these situations. I believe it has the same learning experience as classroom learning from a distance.
In my opinion, TRU has been provided a very good source of remote learning technology in the form of Moodle. During this pandemic, Moodle has been very effective through which learning is possible. Moodle has both audio and video facility, it has video conferencing so that students can have the opportunity of face to face learning. It also has share screen options for both teachers and students to share course material. This gives a chance to work collaboratively in a group and convey their views by writing in chats.
Hi Azeez,
Thank you for sharing your opinion.
Remote learning is beneficial in those situations when students and teachers are not able to conduct teaching learning process in classrooms. In addition, it facilitates open learning. It provides 24 hours present sources. With this chance, any person can continue study as per their convenience. Also, You have given great instance of Moodle.
