I have been using the constructivism theory in my teaching process. It involves the construction of new knowledge with past experiences and learning within social interactions. As learning is an active process in which the learner uses sensory input and constructs meaning out of it, so to make it active in classroom and out of classroom it is important to use construction theory in teaching process. The more traditional formulation of this idea involves the terminology of the active learner (Dewey’s term) stressing that the learner needs to do something practical ; that learning is not the passive acceptance of knowledge which exists “out there” but that learning involves the engagement of learner with the world.

Also by giving students new tasks and challenges, it enhances their ability of making path to solve those under guidance.

Constructivism approach gets support with the inclusion of group projects and various discussion forums so that students can interchange their ideas and knowledge along with knowledge of technology.

Other theory, behaviourism , is the root of effective teaching learning process. According to behaviourism perspective, the stimulus- behaviour response is mandatory for learning. If there is no reinforcement provided to students after the completion of any task, whether positive or negative, they would not get motivated and know their progress. Under the influence of technology, tasks involving learning facts and simple procedural skills  of behaviourism can be developed. For instance, there are numerous apps that emphasised on basics of behaviourism approach.
