Double coding is divided into image coding and memory coding. Research shows that students are more impressed by the things with pictures than the simple Numbers. Therefore, most of the teaching materials are combined with pictures and texts, which is conducive to students’ better memory. Semantic code is an abstract representation of meaning. Some discrete materials are organized by meaningful connections, making it relatively easy to remember.

My own learning experience also proves that double coding is very suitable for learning. Pictures can help us quickly understand the general idea of the article. You can also rely on the pictures to deepen your impression of the text when you read. So I think double coding is a very good way to apply it to teaching programs.
